“Find yourself in Oz” Movie Outing With Underprivileged Children by Genting Malaysia Berhad’s WeCARE Team

Hey guys! Last week I managed to join Genting WeCARE team at Genting for movie screening with a couple of groups of underprivileged kids from Myammar Chin Student Organization, Pertubuhan Wanita dan Kesihatan, and PT Foundation.

Basically, GENM WeCARE is a group of social employees volunteerism established by Genting Sdn Bhd to provide and serve the social community. It also enable employees to within their organization to contribute time, energy and talent in serving the community. [Link]

With corporate social irresponsibility on their shoulder, they aim to help the less-fortunate communities by providing the underprivileged with education, sports, arts and culture, fun and leisure and many more. My mission here is to spread out the great news of GENM WeCARE team's effort and create awareness for the community about their contribution.

On the day of our outing with the underprivileged children, GENM WeCARE brought us for OZ the Great and the Powerful movie screening and also free full theme park access all day long. It's really rewarding to see their smile on the face and their excitement right before the movie start is priceless.

Lunch and breakfast were provided to us. The kids really enjoyed them-self during the movie because they couldn't stop chit-chating, laughing and scream. It's great and inspiring to see how simple little things can make them happy and smile. Buffet lunch at Genting cafe was scrumptious and the children indulged them-self.

Special thanks for JQ Lee for the invitation from Genting's Public Relations & Communications. After weeks of waiting, I finally get to meet her. She is definitely one of the most passionate and hardworking person i ever meet. The arrangement that she provided to bloggers were well organized.
